Ian King

Ian King is a Partner at the Hong Kong office of Options Group. He joined the company in 2021 after running his own boutique firm in Hong Kong for seven years. Ian specializes in senior placements in Equity Derivatives on both the buy-side and sell-side. His extensive knowledge of the Equity Derivatives talent pool has allowed him to expand his expertise into areas such as Cross-Asset Derivatives, Quant Trading, Electronic Trading, and buy-side investment roles where complex risk pricing is essential.

In addition to recruitment, Ian and his team also offer competitive intelligence scans, management and cultural assessments, benchmarking, market sentiment analysis, and compensation analytics.

Ian earned a degree in Classics from the University of Exeter. Outside of work he enjoys playing, coaching and watching rugby, as well as spending time with his family.
